Ok, so anybody who knows me know that I love to read. I'm really big into reading romances and lets just say that, cough, some of my books that I read I've had to go out and buy because they are a little, cough, too much for some people. Don't get me wrong, some libraries do own some of the books that are like this but I do notice that our library doesn't.
The books that I do own I wouldn't mind sharing with patrons from my library or people in the library system but I still want to own them. So if I run across someone who reads the same type of books that I do (and believe me that's a little hard to find when I work in the childrens department), I do sometimes make some comments and exchange email addresses with a few (only did this with one person so far). But I would like to make this known to other people that I don't see.
How should I go about doing this? The only reason that I've even thought about this is because I do notice that some of the books I read are on the hold shelf for patrons at our library. I also notice that some books by an author that I love, and own all of her books, only one library owns some of her books and there always seems to be a long request list where I always feel like telling people who are on them (that are from my library) that I own them and could lend them to them but that's against the rules and I don't want to cross that line.
Does anybody have any suggestions or ideas of how I can share this info without stepping on anybodies toes?
Everything from crafts, artsy stuff, projects, books, contests, work, personal life, etc.

Musing
Just some random things. They have changed the Sears Tower's name to the Willis Tower. I've always known it as the sears tower and if I run into someone asking where the Willis tower is I will most likely not know what they were talking about. I mean, it's always been called the sears tower. Just out of curiousity. . . who thinks of it as the Willis tower? It just doesn't have the same ring does it?
Different subject all together now. I have started back to trying to lose weight. I find that I really like the Special K fruit and yogurt cereal. I have also bought more fruit and veggies and find that (even tho I don't like yogurt) I like some yoplait yogurt whipps. I'm eating frozen Lean Cousines, Healthy Choice and Smart Ones. On top of all of this I'm also working on exercising more (now that the weather is a little warmer). Be it walks with the dogs (long or short) or working out with exercise shows from on the On Demand Comcast Fitness section. I'm drinking a lot of water and haven't had pop since last year. I'm on my way, let's see how long this one lasts for now. :)
Hope that everyone is having a nice weekend.

Sunday March 8th
Today our library is trying out the minigolfing. I think that it's lots of fun. Unless you need to go down the aisles to get books that the course is going down. All of the holes are sponsored by different places around the area. I've heard that this is the biggest library that they have done. They are walking around and checking out how it's going with little things here and there that they fix now and then. It really does look like fun. $5 for adults to mini golf 18 holes, a tournament at the end, and ice cream. I worked as a guide for a few hours and when I had a lunch break, I ran to Subway and that's when it decided to pour. I came back to work some more all wet.
